Welcome! You've discovered GreatGardenSpeakers.com, a new one-stop shop speakers bureau for anyone looking for a speaker with expertise in gardening, nature, conservation, horticulture, or design.
About Us
Conceived by five fulltime garden communicators--Amy Stewart, Debra Prinzing, Mary Ann Newcomer, Nan Sterman, and Scott Calhoun —GreatGardenSpeakers.com was created to connect inspiring speakers with audiences. Today, GreatGardenSpeakers.com is managed by The Garden of Words, LLC, a green-industry marketing and PR firm.
The goal of GreatGardenSpeakers.com is to provide a better way for garden clubs, botanical gardens, and other venues to easily find and book speakers. We noticed that program chairs of garden clubs and other venues have a hard time finding excellent speakers, and we see this as a useful service to the gardening and horticulture community. If you are planning a workshop, symposium, conference, or panel discussion involving plants and the natural world, we are your one-stop shop for premier speakers.
Some of GreatGardenSpeaker's unique features include:
1. "Audience reviews" allow audience members to directly post testimonials for each speaker. If you've seen any of our speakers, we hope you'll take a minute to recommend them to others.
2. A "Coming to a City Near You" feature that allows speakers to list cities they’re already traveling to. Visitors to the site can search by location to find out what speakers are already coming through town, thus making it possible to arrange several events in the same region and save on travel expenses.
3. "Featured Listings" allow speakers to announce a new book or a timely topic. Speakers can also announce a "package deal" of a few speakers who want to promote themselves together for a full-day symposium, panel, or other multi-speaker program.
Take a look around! We hope you'll like what you see. Want more information?
