Description
Melinda has over 30 years of horticulture experience, is a certified arborist, has a master's degree in horticulture, was a horticulture instructor with tenure and is a dynamic presenter. She hosts “Melinda’s Garden Moment”, which airs on 89 TV and radio stations throughout the U.S. and Canada. She also hosts the PBS television program, "Great Lakes Gardener", seen on PBS stations throughout the U.S. She has written over 20 books, including the nationally released title "Can't Miss Small Space Gardening.” Additionally, she is a columnist and contributing editor for Birds & Blooms magazine and was the Plant Doctor on WTMJ radio for over 20 years. She has also been a columnist and contributing editor for Backyard Living magazine and has written articles for Better Homes and Gardens and Fine Gardening. Melinda’s web site is www.melindamyers.com

Melinda Myers has spoken at a number of Aurora Health Care events. She always manages to inspire the potential gardener in ever audience member. We have also paired her with a chef to demonstrate healthy cooking with vegetables grown from your own garden. She is always well received and spends time with every last person who may have a question for her. She is a delight!
